Hotel Cornavin - Geneva

Location (close to the central train station); it was very clean

Breakfast was poor; hotel staff was extremely unfriendly and cold

Room was rather small and furniture and appliances were old. There was no ironing board or iron.

I was in Geneva to attend the ebace Conference and the hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. The hotel is located in downtown Geneva with numerous restuarants and bars located nearby. The hotel is also a five minute walk to Lake Geneva.

As a business traveler, I would liike to see an iron and ironing board in each room. This hotel had only one for all guests and it was located on the first floor.

Apart for the hotel staff who are very warm welcoming and very helpful, the locatio of the hotel is very good from the visiting of official business and tourist point of view. As the hotel situated in the heart of Geneva all necessary facilities are surrounded with working distance at all the needs.

As this was my second time to stay this hotel, I did not observe any weakness on the services provided. The only thing that I can mention that the screen of the TV was very small and high. I would suggest if the screen of the TV to be revisited and changed to wider once.

The personal was friendly, the service was very good and the location of the hotel is perfect.

When my lost luggage was delivered to the hotel, they didn't inform me and stated that it had never been delieved. Zero communication between staff and no one was willing to look to see if it had been delivered. This resulted in mass communication problems between me and the airlines. I didn't see my luggage for four more days. Ugh.

The hotel is well situated, close to the centre. It has a wonderful view from the breakfast room. The facilities are ok in the room ie fridge/minibar/.. but there are no other facilities ie swimming pool/fitness available.

Breakfast is very basic and is an additional cost of sfr. 19.00 per person

Recommend it for solo travelers

This hotel is right next to the central station! The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler like me, and I could walk to most places easily.

It wasn't expensive, but still not exactly cheap either.

this hotel is in an excellent location and facilities were exactly what i wanted for my stay in geneva. staff were very friendly and spoke several languages. for a business trip it is very good.

breakfast is relatively expensive but this is common for geneva hotels and it provided good continential breakfast which is what i wanted. there were noisy roadworks outside my window one night but this is not the fault of the hotel.

This place suits me perfectly! It offers great amenities like a fitness center, tv, and 24-hour reception. I remember how kindly the staff helped my elderly parents during my first stay. I highly recommend it!

The Hotel is great, the bed was awesome and the room is wide enogh to fit a family.

The staff is not gentle and makes no effort to look kind. Really bad staff.

Near the trainstation

Excellent breakfast with fine views, but only one key per room was inconvenient.
